It automates onboarding, continuous assessment and offboarding of suppliers, service providers, subcontractors, customers and partners, with workflows adapted to the criticality of each third party and a supplier portal in which third parties manage their documents, forms and signatures. Dashboards, automated reminders and connectors support procurement, finance, compliance, CSR and ESG, legal and cybersecurity teams. According to the vendor, it is designed with CSRD, duty-of-care, NIS2 and DORA requirements in mind. Aprovall is delivered as a cloud service and was previously known as e-Attestations.

Aprovall SAS is a French company with its registered office in Massy. According to its own site, its executives bought the company out in 2020 and the investor Keensight Capital invested in 2023; no majority owner is stated. Why digital sovereignty matters with Aprovall

Aprovall is headquartered in France and therefore falls under European law: the GDPR, NIS2 and the Data Act. No foreign legislation can compel access to your data.

Data is hosted exclusively in the EU, so Aprovall scores best on data residency.

Aprovall is closed source and hosted by the vendor. The encryption keys and the runtime sit with the vendor and switching requires data migration. Ask about bring-your-own-key, export options and open standards.

What this means for your organisation depends on your whole stack and context. The free assessment weighs Aprovall together with your other vendors and gives a total score, a heatmap and the main risk drivers.
