Fiix is a cloud computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) for scheduling preventive maintenance, managing work orders, tracking equipment and controlling spare parts. It is aimed at maintenance teams in asset-intensive operations and is delivered as software as a service.
Fiix is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Rockwell Automation, a US industrial automation company, announced in November 2020 that it had agreed to acquire it, and the website describes Fiix as a Rockwell Automation trademark. According to the site, the service is hosted on Amazon Web Services, but no region is named. For a European organisation, the Canadian headquarters places the company outside the EU and EEA, and the US parent makes an assessment of US legal reach worthwhile alongside any hosting commitments. Processing terms and the AWS region should be requested before procurement.
