HiScout GRC Suite is a browser-based multi-user application from HiScout GmbH for governance, risk and compliance. The suite consists of modules for IT baseline protection (BSI standards), information security management (ISM) aligned with the ISO 27k family, business continuity management (BCM), GDPR data-protection documentation and audit management. Add-ons include a questionnaire module, a Business Logic Engine for workflows, DataExchange for XML interfaces, DocGen for reporting and ADConnect for user administration. The configurable platform lets administrators build their own questionnaires, reports and automations without programming.
HiScout GmbH is based in Berlin and states that development and support are carried out entirely in Germany. According to an interview with the company, the large majority of customers run the software on their own infrastructure because of the sensitivity of the data; first cloud and AI features are being developed with pilot customers. For European organisations, on-premises use keeps data entirely under their own control. The company's website names no owner and no foreign parent company.
