Xacta is Telos's platform for cyber governance, risk and compliance (GRC). It standardises how risk and compliance are managed across the frameworks an organisation follows, supports several regulations in one system and maps overlapping controls. Components include Risk Insights for continuous assessment, Continuous Monitoring, Xacta Xchange for a consolidated view of risk posture and Xacta.ai for questions about the organisation's own environment. Telos states that the platform is FedRAMP High and GovRAMP authorised.
Telos Corporation is headquartered in Ashburn, Virginia, in the United States. According to Telos and AWS, the public SaaS offering runs on AWS GovCloud (US); AWS Marketplace also lists private SaaS and an on-premises option. The privacy notice describes Telos as a processor of customer data under customer contracts but does not mention the GDPR or a data processing agreement. The FedRAMP-oriented design is aligned with US government requirements. European organisations considering Xacta should account for US jurisdiction, including the CLOUD Act, and for hosting in the United States.
