TrustCloud is a security assurance and governance, risk and compliance platform for enterprises. According to the vendor it offers continuous control monitoring that tests controls against live data, AI agents that require human approval before acting, and modules for sharing assurance information with customers. It supports frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and HIPAA, and connects to other tools through an API. It is delivered as software as a service.
TrustCloud Corporation states in its privacy policy that it is headquartered in the United States, and it was previously known as Kintent. The policy says service providers in other countries may be used and does not specify where the platform is hosted. A notice for UK and EEA users names TrustCloud as controller, but no data processing agreement or EU representative is mentioned. US law such as the CLOUD Act can apply. Ask about hosting location, subprocessors and processor terms before storing control evidence and risk data in the platform.
