Anghami is a music and podcast streaming service with a focus on Arabic music alongside international catalogues. Listeners can stream, download for offline listening, follow curated playlists and view lyrics. It is available as apps for iOS, Android, Mac and Windows and in the browser, with English, Arabic and French interfaces. There is a free tier, a paid Anghami Plus plan and a family plan covering six accounts. Anghami works with telecom partners and has separate offerings for artists, podcasters and advertisers.
Anghami was founded in Lebanon and is headquartered in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, outside the EU. It has been listed on Nasdaq since 2021, and in 2024 OSN+ acquired a majority stake. Anghami is not open source and is delivered as a proprietary cloud service. Because the service is operated from outside the EU, European users and organisations should consult its privacy policy on how personal data is processed and transferred.
