According to the vendor, the service runs entirely on Microsoft Azure in Switzerland, with TLS 1.2 in transit and AES-256 at rest. The hosting provider is therefore a US company, even though the servers are in Switzerland. The vendor cites the Swiss data protection act, largely aligned with the GDPR.
