cool-jconon, published as CNR E-Recruitment, is a web application for running public recruitment calls. It supports the whole procedure: drafting and publishing a call, candidate self-registration and applications, appointing the procedure manager and the selection committee, awarding scores, sending notices, convocations and exclusions by certified email (PEC), automatic registration of applications and publishing rankings. Calls are stored as folders and documents with metadata and permissions in an Alfresco Community repository, accessed through CMIS. It is a Java web application that you can start with the supplied Docker Compose setup.
The software is developed by the Italian National Research Council (CNR), a public body, for its own recruitment and is released under the AGPL-3.0. According to the repository, other Italian public bodies use it as well, among them a space agency, an academy and several municipalities. Because you install it on your own infrastructure, applicant data stays with your organisation. Sign-in through the Italian SPID is supported, and the interface is available in Italian and English.
