Dalia Monitoring is software for medical remote monitoring in psychiatry. Health professionals use it to follow, at a distance, how symptoms develop in adult patients who have been diagnosed with and are being treated for a major depressive episode, outside emergency situations. The monitoring relies on validated questionnaires; in addition the application can take in data from connected devices and compute an estimated mental-health score with an artificial-intelligence algorithm. The vendor classifies it as a medical device. It is a web application that runs in a current browser on Windows, macOS or Linux.
Dalia Care is a French SAS in Paris; the site names no parent company. The privacy policy for health professionals says AWS hosts all personal data on HDS-certified servers in the European Union. AWS is a US-owned provider, so the US CLOUD Act can in principle apply even to data in EU regions. It adds that subcontractors may reach data from outside the EU through remote maintenance, that Dalia does not knowingly send personal data outside the EU, and cites the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
