A dependency firewall blocks known malicious packages for npm, Go, PyPI, Maven, Composer and OCI images, and a command-line scanner covers software composition analysis.

L3montree GmbH is based in Bonn, Germany, and according to its own terms is subject to German and European law. DevGuard is offered as managed SaaS, which the website says is hosted in Germany, as a self-hostable open-source edition under the AGPL-3.0, and as an enterprise variant in your own data centre. The terms and privacy policy name no hosting provider and no standard data processing agreement is offered to SaaS customers, so ask the vendor. Self-hosting keeps the data under your control.
