Elsylog's Cosmos is a software suite for physical access control and for time and activity tracking. It covers access management and supervision, visitor management, key management, event tracking and intrusion detection, complemented by working-time, absence and activity recording, planning and an interface to payroll. The software is supplied together with the company's own hardware, such as card readers, time-clocking terminals and local processing units.
Elsylog is a French SAS with its registered office in Saint-Jean-du-Cardonnay and belongs to the SELEPSO group, whose shareholding the website describes as French, industrial and family-owned. According to its terms of sale, data is stored on external servers or on servers at the customer's premises; no fixed hosting location is named, so ask when installation is carried out by the vendor. With in-house operation, the customer decides where data resides. For a European organisation this means a French supplier under European law.
