Exeon Analytics is a Swiss cybersecurity company that grew out of ETH Zurich. It sells AI-based network detection and response (Exeon.NDR) and user and entity behaviour analytics (Exeon.UEBA). Exeon.NDR works on network metadata to detect threats such as ransomware and advanced attacks, and Exeon.UEBA analyses the activity of identities and applications, including SAP systems. Alerts can be fed into the SIEM and endpoint tools an organisation already runs.
Exeon Analytics AG is headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, and its privacy policy names the Zurich company as controller. The products can be deployed on premises, in a private or public cloud, or fully air-gapped, which lets an organisation keep sensitive network and identity data under its own control. The privacy policy also states that service providers may be located in Switzerland, other European countries and the United States, for example Microsoft, so organisations should confirm where any vendor-operated service processes data. For a European customer this is a Swiss provider, European but outside the EU, whose software can run inside the customer's own environment.
