Huly is an open-source all-in-one platform for project management and team collaboration, positioned as an alternative to Linear, Jira, Slack and Notion. It includes issue tracking, a team planner, chat, collaboratively edited documents, a virtual office with audio and video calls, and two-way GitHub sync. The underlying Huly Platform also covers apps for CRM, HR and applicant tracking. Today Huly can only be run on your own infrastructure, using Docker.
The Huly Platform code is on GitHub under the EPL-2.0 licence and was created by Huly Labs. The developer's hosted cloud service has been discontinued because its hosting was no longer funded. The original repository is frozen, and development continues in a community fork, Platform Collective. Self-hosting is aimed at developers: it requires tools such as Node.js, Docker and Rush, and local installations cannot send email. Whoever runs Huly themselves decides where the data lives, but depends on a community project for updates.
