Guardsix (Logpoint): sovereignty score and 8 European alternatives

Logpoint, a Danish cybersecurity company, was renamed Guardsix in March 2026. Its Command Centre platform brings together SIEM, network detection and response (NDR), SOAR, fleet management and a governance module. SIEM collects security data from an organisation's infrastructure and analyses it to detect and respond to threats. Guardsix says the rebrand changes neither the products nor existing contracts and support, and that it focuses on managed security service providers and regulated organisations. The company names on-premises deployment as an option and does not force a move to the cloud.

The company was founded in Denmark. In 2023 the investment firm Summa Equity acquired a majority stake, with Yttrium remaining a significant minority shareholder. Guardsix describes its platform as sovereign-ready, with European data residency and full data control; this is the vendor's own claim. The product is proprietary and not open source. For European organisations, the on-premises option allows security logs to stay entirely in infrastructure they control.
