myneva.heimbas is modular software for providers of elderly care. It combines administration, billing, documentation, personnel planning, financial accounting and detailed reporting in one system with a central database. It is used in inpatient care facilities, outpatient care services, day care, assisted living and meals-on-wheels services, and the vendor says it is prepared for the legal requirements of the telematics infrastructure in German healthcare. Organisations can start with a few modules and add more as needs grow.
The product is part of the myneva group; the publisher entity, myneva Group GmbH, is based in Essen, Germany. According to the investor's own announcement, the Stockholm-based private equity firm Summa Equity acquired a majority stake in 2021, so the ultimate parent sits in Sweden, an EU member state. myneva also offers cloud hosting, but its pages do not say where it is located or whether on-premises installation is offered. Care software holds health-related data, so ask for the data centre location, the processing agreement and the subprocessors before you decide.
