Its offering includes a public key infrastructure (PKI) platform, certificate lifecycle management for issuing, renewing and revoking certificates, an IoT platform that issues device identities, and workforce identity services such as FIDO and passkey enrolment and card management. The vendor also promotes a replacement for Microsoft ADCS and post-quantum PKI. Nexus describes a fully managed PKI as a service, and customers are mainly large organisations in manufacturing, financial services, utilities, the public sector and construction.

Nexus is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. Nexus is part of IN Groupe, the French state operator for identity, formerly Imprimerie Nationale, which agreed to acquire it in 2020 and which according to Nexus is wholly held by the French State. That French ownership is relevant for jurisdiction, but both countries are EU member states. Nexus Sweden states that it is certified under ISO 27001 and TISAX. The software is proprietary and not open source. The pages consulted do not state in which data centres the managed service runs.
