You can register domain names in hundreds of extensions, with free anycast DNS, DNSSEC, URL forwarding and WHOIS privacy included. There is also a customer portal, a REST API and a reseller programme with modules for WHMCS and FOSSBilling. The company additionally offers web and email hosting. The services are delivered as SaaS.

According to the company, NordName is an independent family business in Finland, with ownership and servers in the country, and customer data stays in Finland. Domains are governed by Finnish law. There is therefore no foreign parent company. A European directory states that its DNS and web infrastructure runs on Hetzner in Germany.
