otris legal SUITE is a modular software suite for legal departments. Its modules cover contract management (from drafting and digital signature to deadline monitoring and archiving), shareholding management, matter management with a portal for internal requests, and management of intellectual property rights. All modules run on the same technology platform and can be used separately or together. Optionally, otris copilot adds AI functions, for example for extracting deadlines and clauses. Standard interfaces allow integration, and extensions exist for financial institutions, municipalities and health insurers.
otris software AG is based in Dortmund, Germany; its website names no parent company. Customers choose between installation in their own data centre and a cloud offering from the subsidiary otris systems GmbH. According to otris, all servers of the data centres running its products are located in Germany. Data processing agreements set out the data protection commitments. The source code is not published as open source.
