Philéas is practice-management software for law firms, originally designed for firms specialising in appeal proceedings and developed by Félix Informatique. It supports the administrative and financial management of a firm and follows cases from the declaration of appeal to financial settlement after the judgment. It also covers scheduling, correspondence and communication with the court registry through e-barreau. Companion tools include faxing from within the software (Izylix) and a Maileva connector for letters and registered mail.
Félix Informatique is a French limited company (SAS) with its registered office in Laxou. According to its own site it has been part of Groupe TSS since 2019. The TSS group, which lists Félix among its companies, is headquartered in the Netherlands and describes itself as part of Topicus.com Inc., a listed company based in Toronto, within the ecosystem of Constellation Software. Philéas and its database can be installed and managed by the vendor's technical team on platforms that Félix says are located in France. Organisations assessing foreign-ownership exposure should take the Canadian group structure into account.
