Pressable is a managed WordPress hosting provider. The platform includes automated updates, backups, staging environments, edge and object caching, a CDN, SSH, Git and WP-CLI tools, WooCommerce and multisite support and migrations. According to its website, Pressable runs on the WP Cloud infrastructure of Automattic, the company behind WordPress.com and WooCommerce. The service is delivered as a hosted solution aimed at agencies and organisations that have their WordPress sites managed for them.
Pressable, Inc. is based in San Francisco and is part of Automattic, which is also a US company, so US jurisdiction, including the CLOUD Act, applies. According to its sub-processor list (April 2026), Automattic provides the data centres in the United States and the Netherlands, and Amazon Web Services stores backup data in the United States. Pressable says it operates in accordance with the principles of the GDPR, offers a data processing agreement on request and uses standard contractual clauses for transfers outside the EEA. Which region a customer can choose is not stated publicly, so this should be confirmed with the provider.
