SAM Seamless Network develops security and intelligence software that helps broadband providers and network equipment makers detect, track and protect connected devices on home and small-business networks. The platform combines device intelligence, AI-based threat detection and security at the network edge. SAM does not sell to households directly but delivers its service through internet service providers and routers. According to press reports, customers include AT&T, Verizon, Bezeq, Telenet and Virgin Media.
SAM is an Israeli company founded in 2016. In July 2026 it was acquired by the US chip company Qualcomm and continues to operate as a separate business unit within Qualcomm Technologies. Its ultimate parent is therefore US-based, which is relevant for the CLOUD Act. The public sources consulted do not state where network data is processed, so a European provider should settle this contractually. The software is not open source.
