Spitas is web-based administration software for Spitex organisations (Swiss home care) and care homes, developed by Kallysoft Informatik AG. It covers the chain from needs assessment according to RAI-HC and recording of services with small scanners, through shift and visit planning, to invoicing and posting to financial accounting. It also includes reports, statistics, member administration, master data and management of assisted-living flats. Spitas works in an ordinary browser on Windows, Linux and macOS, and on iPad or Android tablets.

Kallysoft Informatik AG is headquartered in Allschwil, Switzerland. According to the technical requirements, Spitas runs on the organisation's own server with Microsoft IIS and a SQL database; other SQL servers such as Oracle are also possible. The data therefore stays on infrastructure you choose yourself. The website gives no information about a parent company. Switzerland is not an EU member but is an EFTA country with an EU adequacy decision. Agree remote maintenance and backups of health data with the vendor beforehand.
