Its offering covers network security (Stormshield Network Security hardware firewalls and virtual appliances, with administration and log management tools), endpoint security (EDR and protection for workstations and servers), data security (encryption for workstations and for services such as Google Workspace, Outlook and SharePoint/OneDrive) and security for industrial (OT) environments and critical infrastructure. The products are delivered as hardware appliances, virtual appliances and software that the customer operates.

Stormshield is headquartered in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the cyber division of Airbus Defence and Space (formerly Airbus CyberSecurity), so its ultimate parent is the European group Airbus. The company states that its products are certified and qualified in France by ANSSI, with the SNS firewalls holding the ANSSI standard qualification, and in Spain by CCN, and it mentions an independent audit of its source code and development environments. Because the products run on the customer's own infrastructure, the location of data is determined by the organisation itself.
