Sucuri is a cloud-based website security platform. According to the vendor it combines malware cleanup and scanning, a web application firewall, a CDN, backups and uptime monitoring, with a WordPress security plugin and plans for agencies and larger organisations. The service is delivered as SaaS and uses a global anycast CDN.
Its services are offered through GoDaddy Media Temple, Inc., doing business as Sucuri and part of the US group GoDaddy; the US address is in Tempe, Arizona. A firewall with a CDN by design processes the traffic of the protected site. The privacy notice lists a contact point in Cologne, Germany, for residents of the EU/EEA and Switzerland, a European supplement, and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for transfers to the United States. The vendor's pages state no data centre locations or data processing agreement. US law such as the CLOUD Act can apply. Check processing locations and contract terms before routing traffic through the service.
