Cybels is the cybersecurity brand of Thales. Launched in 2010, it was presented as a modular offering for active cyber defence of critical information systems. It combines continuous monitoring of critical systems, tools for detecting, analysing and responding to threats, a permanent security operations centre that supervises systems around the clock, and advisory services from risk assessment to security plans. The brand also covers Cybels Analytics, an AI-based platform introduced in 2020 that detects complex attacks from network, endpoint and OT logs. It can be integrated with an on-premise SOC or provided as a cloud service. It is aimed at government bodies and public and private enterprises.
Thales is a French group headquartered in the La Défense district of Paris, listed on Euronext Paris. Where data resides depends on the deployment: an on-premise SOC keeps it with the customer, while the cloud service and the operations centre are run by Thales.
