Amazon Quick is an AI assistant for work from Amazon Web Services. Employees ask questions in a chat, run in-depth research, create documents, presentations and spreadsheets, build simple apps without code, and automate repetitive tasks with flows. It connects to many business applications and includes dashboards. It is delivered as a cloud service with web access, a desktop app and extensions. AWS describes Quick as the next evolution of Amazon Q Business, which is no longer available to new customers.
Amazon Web Services is part of the US group Amazon and is subject to US law, including the CLOUD Act. Since March 2026 Quick has been available in the Frankfurt region, where according to AWS data is stored and processed locally and inference stays within European AWS regions. AWS offers a data processing addendum for GDPR purposes. For European organisations an EU region provides data residency but not immunity from US legal orders; also check whether the chosen configuration uses cross-region inference.
