Autodesk Moldflow is simulation software for plastic injection and compression moulding. Designers and engineers use it before production to predict defects such as warpage, sink marks and weld lines, and to assess cooling, material choice and cycle time. The suite consists of Moldflow Adviser, with guided wizards for part and mould designers, and Moldflow Insight, which offers broader analysis for specialists. Analyses can be solved locally, on a server or in the cloud through the Simulation Compute Manager.
Autodesk, Inc. is headquartered in San Francisco in the United States and is therefore subject to US law, including the CLOUD Act. Where cloud solving is processed is not stated. Analyses run locally or on your own servers keep models and process data on your own infrastructure. Autodesk states that it is committed to complying with the GDPR and holds ISO and SOC 2 attestations for certain cloud products. For European organisations with sensitive product geometry, solving locally keeps control over the data.
