CANAL+ is a French subscription platform for television and video on demand. The streaming service launched in December 2013 as myCanal and has been called Canal+ since 1 August 2019. Subscribers can watch the provider's channels live and on demand, including films and series, and Canal+'s free-to-air channels can be watched without a subscription. Through additional packages, third-party services such as Netflix and Disney+ have also been bundled. Registration is required. The service operates in Europe, Africa, Oceania, Myanmar and Vietnam.
Canal+ is a subsidiary of Canal+ S.A., headquartered in Issy-les-Moulineaux near Paris. The group was part of Vivendi until 9 December 2024 and has since been listed in London; the Bolloré family holds a stake of roughly thirty per cent through the holding company Bolloré. In 2025 Canal+ took over the South African provider MultiChoice. No parent company outside Europe is mentioned. The service is not open source. The sources used do not state where the streaming is hosted; that belongs in the service's own privacy statement.
