CaptchaFox is a CAPTCHA and bot-protection service that aims to block spam, fake sign-ups and account takeover on forms and logins. When a visitor interacts with a protected form, bot detection, proof-of-work and threat intelligence run in the background: humans pass through, while suspected bots are slowed down and given a risk score. The vendor says its API is compatible with reCAPTCHA and hCaptcha, so migrating may only require swapping the script and keys. SDKs cover React, Vue, Angular, WordPress, JavaScript and Keycloak, and a dashboard lets administrators adjust protection without coding. It is delivered as hosted SaaS.
CaptchaFox is provided by Scoria Labs GmbH, a German company based in Hallbergmoos. The vendor states that processing takes place exclusively in EU data centres with no transfers to third countries, that it acts as a processor under Article 28 GDPR with a data processing agreement available, and that it uses no cookies or trackers. The hosting providers are not named publicly, but the sub-processor list can be requested from the vendor.
