CEBELMAIL: sovereignty score and 8 European alternatives

CEBELMAIL is simulation software for hydraulic transients (water hammer) in pressurised pipe networks such as drinking-water, sewerage and irrigation systems. Users build the network graphically from components such as pipes, centrifugal pumps, check valves, reservoirs, surge vessels, surge chimneys, valves and consumption points, and use it to size protection against water hammer. The calculation engine solves the Saint-Venant equations with Bergeron's method of characteristics. Results can be viewed as graphs and animated profiles and exported to Excel. The program runs on Windows and comes in the editions Standard, Pro, Expert and SALTO.

Since April 2024 Deltacad has owned, published and supported CEBELMAIL. Deltacad is a French company (société anonyme SCOP) in Lacroix-Saint-Ouen; no parent company is named. The product pages describe a locally installed Windows program, protected by a licence file with online activation, and mention no cloud service. Ask Deltacad what data is sent during activation.
