According to the vendor, the platform works with a shared enterprise model and a digital twin of the organisation, offers automated workflows and approvals, and provides AI support through Corporater AI. The platform is offered as a cloud service.

Corporater was established in 2000 and is based in Stavanger, Norway, which belongs to the EFTA/EEA area. The platform is proprietary. In a 2017 announcement Corporater said it offers the cloud version on Amazon Web Services and that customers can choose which data centre to use; the sources do not confirm whether this is still current.
