CREDOC 5G is a trade finance back-office system from MITech SA, built for banks. It automates the handling of documentary credits (import and export), standby letters of credit, issued and received guarantees, and documentary collections. According to the vendor it has a service-oriented, three-tier architecture with an embedded workflow and rules engine, business activity monitoring, REST APIs and full SWIFT connectivity. It supports multiple branches, banks and time zones. You can run it as SaaS, in the cloud, on premises or as container images.
MITech SA is based in Tolochenaz, Switzerland, and its company pages name no parent group. Switzerland is not in the EU but is an EFTA country with an EU adequacy decision for data protection. The vendor does not state where SaaS and cloud deployments are hosted, so ask about data location, sub-processors and your own control over data and keys. Because the software can also be installed on a bank's own infrastructure, you can keep processing under your own jurisdiction. The privacy policy refers to rights under the GDPR.
