It uses two-factor authentication and encrypted data, offers time-stamped tracking, secure exchange of bank details and transfer of large files. Electronic signing runs through the Youtrust service at three levels (simple, advanced and qualified). For notary offices there is also an exchange platform integrated into Fichorga's notarial software Authen.tic.

According to the website, Fichorga, a supplier of notarial software, is the parent company; the website does not state that parent's country. FoxNot says its servers are in France and that the service complies with the GDPR; the website itself runs at OVH in Roubaix. That matters for practices bound by professional secrecy; do ask which sub-processors, such as the e-signature provider, are involved.
