Kenjo is workforce-management software for people managers at small and growing businesses, including those with deskless teams in sectors such as retail, health, manufacturing and logistics. It covers shift planning with a mobile app, absence management, time tracking with a QR-code or PIN kiosk, payroll preparation with automatic gross-pay calculation, employee files with digital signatures, recruitment, pulse surveys, people analytics, a training tracker and an anonymous whistleblower channel. Kenjo is delivered as a cloud service.
The provider is Kenjo GmbH, registered in Berlin, Germany, which founder David Padilla set up in 2017. Kenjo also has offices in Madrid, Zurich and Mexico City. Its website names well-known investors who sit on its board but no parent company. The software is proprietary and offers no self-hosting. The sources consulted say only that data is processed in certified high-security data centres and do not name the hosting provider or region. A European organisation should therefore ask Kenjo for the data-centre locations and its sub-processor list before relying on it for employee data.
