KiwiHR is an HR information system for small and medium-sized businesses, now marketed as Tellent HR Manage. It provides an employee database, an organisation chart, time and attendance with a clock-in station for shift and deskless workers, absence and expense management, payroll, HR reports, employee journeys and a whistleblowing channel, with integrations to more than 200 partners. It is delivered as a cloud service.
KiwiHR was founded in 2017 and was acquired in 2022 by Recruitee and Javelo, which combined under the Tellent name. According to Tellent, the investment firm PSG Equity is the majority shareholder of the combined group. Tellent's trust centre describes the company as built and headquartered in Europe, as GDPR compliant and ISO certified, and says it applies Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers outside the EU. The sources consulted do not state where customer data is hosted, and the software is proprietary with no self-hosting option. A European organisation should check the sub-processor list for hosting locations and for any processing outside the EU.
