Leviia Next is a collaboration suite from the French company Leviia, based on Nextcloud. It covers file storage and sharing with sync to desktop, mobile and browser, real-time co-editing of Word, Excel and PowerPoint files through OnlyOffice, chat and video calls with Nextcloud Talk, a calendar via CalDAV, task boards and forms. According to the vendor, each customer gets its own customisable private instance with options such as SSO and backups, and Leviia can take over existing Nextcloud deployments. Leviia Next is aimed at companies and public bodies and is delivered as a managed service.
Leviia is a French SAS with its registered office in Montévrain; its legal notice names no parent company. According to the vendor, data is hosted exclusively in France, spread across three remote sites, and the service is not subject to the US Cloud Act; the latter is a vendor claim. The underlying software is Nextcloud, to which Leviia says it contributes. For a European organisation this is a Nextcloud environment run by a French provider, with files kept outside a US cloud.
