Meetling is a video conferencing platform from H2 invent GmbH of Lörrach, Germany. It is built on the open-source project Jitsi Admin, which the company maintains itself. Users schedule meetings, create date polls and invite participants, who can join through a browser, an app or a dial-in phone number. According to the vendor, features include a lobby, participant lists, secure document sharing and a webinar mode. Organisations can have a dedicated environment set up with their own URL and branding.
H2 invent is headquartered in Germany, and no foreign parent company is mentioned. According to its privacy notice, Meetling and Jitsi Admin data is stored and processed only on servers in Germany. The vendor also states explicitly that profile pictures are uploaded to AWS S3 and that the transcription feature sends input to Mistral AI, without naming the server location. Three hosting models exist: SaaS, hybrid, and fully inside the customer's own data centre. Because the base is open source, a European organisation can also install the software itself.
