Ostendis is a cloud-based e-recruiting and applicant-tracking system from Ostendis AG in Boniswil, Switzerland. Organisations use it to create job ads, publish them to job boards and social channels through multiposting, receive applications by email, post or an upload form, and manage candidates in one place. It also offers acknowledgements, reply templates, assessment within the team, a candidate pool, CV parsing and an interface to the Swiss RAV job registry. It is delivered as software as a service, with no installation.

According to the vendor, applicant data is stored on its own servers in a monitored data centre in Cham, canton of Zug. Switzerland is not an EU member but an EFTA country with an EU adequacy decision, and the vendor describes its service as compliant with the Swiss data protection act and the GDPR. For European organisations this means Swiss jurisdiction and Swiss hosting. Ask the vendor for its data processing agreement and its list of sub-processors.
