QCAD is a 2D CAD application for technical drawing, which the vendor describes as a professional 2D CAD system for everyone. The software comes in two forms: a Community Edition under the GNU GPL, which since version 3.7 is distributed as source code, and a commercial Professional edition with additional functions.
