Replicate is a cloud platform that lets developers run machine-learning models through an API. It offers a large library of community-published models, many of them open source, supports fine-tuning of existing models, and lets users package their own models with Cog, an open-source packaging tool. The service is aimed at developers and businesses building AI features and is billed by usage.
Replicate is based in San Francisco; its privacy policy names Replicate, LLC with a San Francisco address. In November 2025 the cloud company Cloudflare announced its acquisition of Replicate, and SiliconANGLE reports that the deal has been completed. Cloudflare plans to move the platform onto its own infrastructure. The privacy policy does not state a hosting location, an EU option or a data processing agreement. European organisations should therefore confirm hosting and contract terms before sending personal data to the service.
