Sympa is a Finnish company, founded in 2005 in Lahti. In August 2020 Providence Strategic Growth, a US investor, took a majority stake; a US owner is a CLOUD-Act signal. Alfvén & Didrikson and the founding team hold the remaining shares. The pages consulted do not state where customer data is hosted, so this should be checked in the contract documentation.
