Lucen Track (formerly Timeneye): sovereignty score and 8 European alternatives

Lucen Track is a time tracking tool for teams that work with Microsoft 365. The software was called Timeneye until 2025. You record time in Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Planner, Azure DevOps and Outlook calendar meetings. Lucen Track also monitors workload, progress and capacity at project and team level and separates billable from non-billable hours. Reporting is possible through a Power BI connector, and sign-in uses Microsoft Entra ID. Lucen Track is available as a web service, as a mobile app for iOS and Android, as a Teams app and as an Outlook add-in.

Timeneye was an Italian company based in Modena. Office Timeline (now Lucen Software) acquired the product on 31 July 2025; the vendor is now a US company, based in Austin, Texas. For a European organisation this means the service is provided by a US vendor. In the self-declaration in the Microsoft app catalogue (last updated in August 2024), the vendor states that customer data is stored in Ireland. The software is not open source.
