HPE Aruba Networking Central is HPE's network management platform. It configures, manages, monitors and troubleshoots wired and wireless LANs, WAN and IoT networks from a single environment. According to HPE it includes AIOps functions, AI assistants for diagnostics and recommendations, observability that covers third-party equipment, and APIs for sharing network telemetry with other IT tools. HPE describes four delivery models: cloud-delivered SaaS, a virtual private cloud, on-premises (which can run disconnected from the cloud) and network as a service.
HPE is headquartered in the United States, in Spring, Texas, and Aruba has been part of HPE since 2015. The company therefore falls under US jurisdiction, which is relevant for the CLOUD Act. For the cloud service, HPE offers separate instances, including in the US and the EU; in Europe there are several clusters. The software is not open source. For organisations that want to keep management data within their own jurisdiction, the EU region, the virtual private cloud and the on-premises variant are the relevant options.
