Ekinops supplies routers and network equipment for business users under the OneAccess brand. The OneAccess range consists of hardware and software platforms for telecom carriers and service providers, who use them for large corporate and SME customers. One example is the ONE421, a branch-office router that combines fibre, A/VDSL and LTE for hybrid access. The OneOS6 operating system can add functions such as SD-WAN, a session border controller or a firewall. Customers can obtain the equipment through an operator or managed service provider and run it in their own network.
Ekinops is based in Lannion, France, and acquired OneAccess in 2017. The sources consulted name no foreign parent company. The software is not open source, and the equipment runs in your own network rather than as a vendor-hosted service. For a European organisation this means a French manufacturer with equipment that stays under its own control; where management data is stored depends on the chosen management set-up, which you should agree with the vendor or operator.
