Aruba Fatturazione Elettronica is an electronic invoicing service from the Italian provider Aruba. Through the Italian tax authority's Sistema di Interscambio (SdI), businesses can send invoices to business customers, public administrations and consumers. The service stores the invoices and the related SdI notifications in an archive that meets Italian statutory retention requirements. It sits alongside Aruba's wider offer of hosting, certified email (PEC), digital signatures and cloud services.
Aruba S.p.A. was founded in 1994 and describes its capital as entirely Italian, so no foreign parent company is named. The company states that customer data remains in Italy, in data centres it owns that hold ISO 27001 certification. For a European organisation this is a provider inside the EU, under Italian law. The service is bound to Italian electronic invoicing rules and is mainly relevant to organisations that invoice in Italy. The vendor's pages describe no self-hosted version.
