Assistant RGAA: sovereignty score and 8 European alternatives

Assistant RGAA is a browser extension for Firefox and Chrome that helps accessibility auditors check web pages against the RGAA, the French general accessibility framework for public administrations, which is based on the international WCAG rules. The extension contains the tests of several RGAA versions (3 up to 4.1.2), gives instructions for judging each test and, for most tests, highlights the page elements concerned. It does not automate the audit; it makes manual checks easier. You can dock the panel in the browser or open it in a separate window.

The extension was first developed for DINUM, the French interministerial digital directorate, and is maintained today by Boscop, a worker cooperative in Angers, France. The source code is published on GitHub under the Mozilla Public License 2.0. The extension runs inside your own browser and keeps its settings in the extension's local storage. Only the optional buttons for the W3C validators send a page to the W3C validation service.
