Autogram Portal: sovereignty score and 8 European alternatives

Autogram Portal is a web platform for managing electronic signatures. It supports qualified signatures under the EU eIDAS Regulation using government-issued eID cards and other qualified signature creation devices. People can sign and verify documents without an account, while registered users can send documents to several recipients for signing, see who has signed and have documents archived. An API and a JavaScript SDK allow integration with other systems, and the portal works together with desktop and mobile signing applications.

Autogram Portal is offered as a hosted service by Služby Slovensko.Digital s.r.o. in Bratislava, Slovakia, a company wholly owned by the civic association Slovensko.Digital. According to its privacy policy, the servers are located in the European Union and no data is transferred to third countries; signing in with a Google account is optional. The source code is published under the EUPL-1.2, and according to the provider you can also run the portal on your own infrastructure. Development was funded through the EU's NGI Zero programme, administered by NLnet. Free and paid plans are available.
