Buypass is a Norwegian provider of electronic identity, authentication and signing services, founded in 2001. Its portfolio includes Buypass ID (a personal electronic ID on a smart card or in a mobile app for login and digital signing), Buypass Access for certificate-based employee login, Buypass Code for two-factor authentication, and eSeal and enterprise certificates, including a qualified e-seal certificate. It also offers a cloud-based digital signature solution and identification and payment infrastructure for other businesses.

Buypass AS has offices in Oslo and Gjøvik. Since 16 October 2024 it has been owned by Total Specific Solutions (TSS), which is part of Topicus.com and of the ecosystem of Constellation Software Inc., a company listed in Canada. Buypass states that it remains an independent Norwegian company following Norwegian and European regulation. Its website does not say where data is hosted and describes no self-hosted or open-source edition. European organisations may wish to take the parent group into account when assessing jurisdictional exposure.
