Dokobit is a Lithuanian SaaS platform for electronic authentication, signing, sealing and validation, aimed at businesses and the public sector. Founded in Vilnius in 2008, it is a qualified trust service provider on the EU Trust List and has expanded into Estonia, Latvia and Iceland. The web portal offers plans for individuals and teams with workflows, document libraries and reminders; an API lets organisations embed signing, identification and sealing in their own applications, and a Salesforce integration is available. Dokobit supports national and global eIDs; where a method cannot produce qualified signatures, it offers SignicatID as an alternative.
Signicat, headquartered in Trondheim, Norway, acquired Dokobit in August 2021, and the portal is powered by Signicat. According to its data processing agreement, customer data is stored and processed within the EU/EEA, with no subcontractors outside that region. Dokobit lists AWS EMEA SARL (Luxembourg) as its cloud infrastructure provider, with Google Cloud EMEA Limited announced as the replacement. No open-source or self-hosted edition is described.
