Bluebeam Revu is software for marking up, measuring and managing PDF construction drawings and documents. Users apply markups and measurements, support processes such as takeoffs, RFIs, submittals and punch lists, and collaborate on drawings in real time through Bluebeam Studio from desktop, browser or mobile. Bluebeam Max adds AI, and Studio APIs allow integrations with other applications. Revu is installed as a desktop program; the collaboration features run in the cloud.
Bluebeam is headquartered in Pasadena, California, and has been part of the Nemetschek Group, headquartered in Munich, since 2014. The operating entity, Bluebeam LLC, is a Delaware corporation. According to its sub-processor list, cloud data is stored with providers including AWS in the US, the United Kingdom, Australia, Sweden and Germany. The privacy policy refers to a standard data processing addendum with standard contractual clauses and a certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Because the contracting entity is American, US law may apply to cloud data. European organisations can limit this by working mainly locally and using cloud features selectively.
